The Street Feast, Schwarzrheindorf church, and a Walk in the German nature
This article describes three events. The first event is when I was invited to a neighborhood feast where all the people living on the same street bring food and eat. Second, Mrs. Jungbluth and me went to the nice Schwarzrheindorf church in Bonn area. Third, and on the same day, the three of us, the Jungbluths and I, gone a walk all over Sassenberg, Kotthausen, and Eudenberg with lots of wonderful scenery.The Street Feast
Or what is called in German "Strassenfest", is a yearly activity done by the village of Eudenberg where all the neighbors gather around and each brings his own food. It is about eating and drinking and having conversations with lots of fun and a family atmoshere.
They all welcomed me as a new member of the club. I really enjoyed it more that I can ever imagine. Although my German is still weak and couldn't understand everything, I was frequently endorsed by a joke or a question to make sure that I was enjoying it. German people are really fun to be with, and one can easily feel like famiy.
St. Maria and St. Clemens Church in Schwarzrheindorf
Or the "Doppel Kirche", is a wonderful Catholic church in the Beuel area in Bonn. It is small but contains everything that a typical church needs. One can clearly see the old part of the church merged with the renovated part. The black stone that is used in the walls, the fence, and the ground tile gives the church a special archaic feeling.
A Walk in the German Nature
The German nature is extremely beautiful because it rains all the year long, giving the nature this everlasting nd heavy green. In Autumn, the nature is even more beautiful becuase of the coloring of the trees, making it the subject of a wonderful picture.
